What is Snapmint? How does Snapmint work?

Snapmint is a Cardless EMI solution that empowers customers to “Buy
now, pay later with simple, interest-free installment plans. Shop online on
installment. No credit card is required. Real time approval mechanism.
Pay as little as 25% - 33% at the time of purchase and the rest in easy
monthly installments/EMIs.
Select Snapmint as the payment method on the payment page and
complete a simple 2-minute process for approval. Once approved the
merchant will ship your products just like they would with any other
payment method.

Will there be any processing fees?
No, there are no processing fees or any kind of hidden charges.

Who can use Snapmint?
● The customer must be 18 years or older and based out of India.
● The customer will need a valid phone number and need to have an email
address as well as a payment method ready at checkout – UPI, Net Banking,
Debit Card.

Managing orders:
When will I receive my order?
For tracking order status, we would request customers to visit the merchant’s
website/App or contact the merchant’s customer support team they will assist you
regarding the same.

Why was my Snapmint EMI request declined?
While we strive to offer all applications a payment plan through Snapmint, we aren’t
able to approve every order. If a customer is not approved, we notify the customer
instantly - and then the customer can check out as normal using another payment
method such as credit card or UPI that the merchant supports.

How can I cancel my order?
For the cancellation process, we would request customers to cancel the order on the
merchant’s website/App or contact the merchant’s customer support team, as
Snapmint does not cancel orders from our side.

What happens if my items were out of stock?
When the merchant is out of stock of your items, the merchant will typically notify the
customer directly and refund the customer's purchase through Snapmint.

Once the merchant has issued a refund through Snapmint, we’ll refund it to the
customer's original payment method. It typically takes between 5-7 banking days for
the funds to show up in your account.

If it is a Partial refund, the refund amount will be adjusted starting with the customer's
last EMIs.

Return & Refunds
How does Refund work?
Refund types

1- Full Refunds:
When the merchant issues the complete order amount as a refund, any down
payment/installments that have been paid will be refunded to the original payment
method.

2- Partial Refunds:
When the merchant issues any refund amount that is less than the total order value,
it is considered as a partial refund.
We begin by taking the amount that the merchant refunded and adjust them against
customer’s installments from last to first EMI.
Customer will only receive an amount back to your original payment method if the
remaining amount is less than the amount paid by the customer as down
payment/installments.
Note: Snapmint will process the refunds only after the merchant initiates the
refund.

I want to make a return or an exchange.
For any return or exchange related queries the customer needs to connect with the
merchant directly.
Snapmint does not initiate any refunds, the merchants need to initiate refunds for
your order, after which we will process the refunds at our end. Once processed by
Snapmint it will take 5-7 banking days to credit in your account.

Why am I being charged even after returning my order?
Returns and exchanges are all subject to the merchant’s policies and must be
initiated by the merchant. In the event of a return, the merchant needs to confirm
with Snapmint and update the next course of action (refund or replacement).
Depending on the action taken we will proceed further. In case your payment due
date approaches during this process, we suggest you make the payment on your
due date to avoid late fees.

How can I pay EMI...?

● For paying EMI customer need to download the Snapmint Application from
Google Play store, login wth your mobile number that was used to place the
order. To pay your EMIs you can select the Pay EMI option. You can also
choose to visit Snapmint website - www.snapmint.com to pay your EMIs.
● We also send customers SMS’ & email messages along with payment link
before the EMI due date to facilitate customers in making the payment duly.
● If the customer has set up the auto debit during the checkout process, then
the customer needs to maintain sufficient balance to have their EMI detected
directly from their bank account.

What if I miss my EMI payment by the due date?
● We request customers to be punctual with meeting their EMI obligation as it could
have bearing with their overall credit score. However, we do understand that
sometimes the customers are in some emergency due to which they might have
missed the EMI payment. In such circumstances, customers should login to the
Snapmint app/website and access their account to make the payment at the earliest
possible.

Will I be charged anything extra for late payment?
● Currently Snapmint does not levy any additional charges for late payment.
Can I pre close the EMI offer and in that case will there be any preclosure charges applicable?
● Yes, the customer can pre close your EMI and there are no additional charges.
